Second Lesson of Ms-Word

Undo: undoes your last action. You can also undo or correct previous actions using this function
Repeat: your last action. If you accidentally undo and action try repeating your last action
Clear: delete selected text without copying it to the clipboard
Cut: deletes text the page and stores it on a clipboard. The text can then be inserted to another location in your document. NM; the clipboard can only hold one piece of text or image at time
Select: all an entire document including it to the clipboard
Copy: copies selected text without deleting it from your document. Pictures can also be copied
Paste: reproduces text or images that have been previously cut or copied
Paste special: provides some additional pasting options such as pasting objects
Object allows you to edit any objects (pictures media clips, graph, etc) in your document
Find: searches the document for a specicic word a phrase
Replace: search your document for a specific word or phrase you want to replace or change
Go to: allows you to move to a specific place in your document such as a page, section, footnote,
Link: enables you to edit any links to other document you have
